All good things come to an end.
Last week, we completed this year's student internship at Webtechnika, which cooperated with the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn.
Special practices, because due to COVID-19, we were forced to conduct them remotely partially. Fortunately, having experience working remotely, we were able to carry out the internships efficiently, without inconvenience for students and the company's team.
During the internship, students acquired skills in programming in Python, mainly using the Django framework. They also learned the principles of writing clean code, collaborating in a team using the distributed version control system tools (GIT and bitbucket). The internship participants had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with and participate in the full software development project, from creating a task through writing unit tests on a demo for the client, collecting feedback, and ending with deployment. The result of our cooperation are not only simple websites but also more advanced CMS and CRMs.
Thanks to the cooperation with the company's employees, interns completed several important projects for clients. Thus, having the opportunity to use the knowledge from studies in practice.
Out of seven interns, we chose four that received a proposal for further cooperation! Congratulations!
